  Oh. My. Lands. Such a wonderful experience. We are from Calgary and needed time away from the kids and work. We stayed a weekend and it was perfect here!!! They had just finished a three week reno on some rooms and we were the first ones to stay in ours! I highly recommend room #206. There was a lovely dish of butter cookies and tea tray to meet us. The colors were calming and the fixtures were modern. I loved the fact they kept the corridors and common areas original. A perfect blend of past and present. Truly relaxing. The stand alone tub and bath salts were a lovely touch. Super super clean and the windows let in such a beautiful light. The bed was comfortable, and furniture plush. I'd book this again.

  Georgetown Inn was unique and adorable - and affordable! It was bursting with character. They happily let our family of 6 (kids ages 4-9) take a room with 2 queen beds. Our kids were thrilled with that room's golfing theme. There was a tea tray with a pot and 2 tea cups, and two shortbread cookies that melted into creamy, buttery goodness in our mouths. In the corner was a little electric woodstove which added buckets to the charm and experience. ♡ The elevator was another memory all on its own - so cool! We checked out the pub - excellent service and drinks, beautiful rustic/eclectic atmosphere; cracking fireplace at one end. We did find our room was a little tired in the sense it could have used a fresh coat of paint, but I wouldn't change anything else. The bathroom had been renovated at some point and was beautiful - and very clean - but lost the rustic charm of the rest of the place. Shower was lovely. We can't wait to go back!
